Karen Raines             

 (Paranormal Investigator) 

My name is Karen Raines and I have lived in Orlando, Florida for the last 12 years.  I was born in San Diego, CA, but have lived in numerous cities due to my father being in the military. 

I have a degree in Surgical Technology but I am currently working as a Regional Administrator for a major insurance company.

 I come from a family that has always been somewhat "sensitive" to the paranormal.   

One occasion that happened to my mother I will never forget, is regarding my grandfather.

 My grandfather passed away 13 years ago.  We all loved him every much and still think about him everyday. 

On February 14 of last year, (Valentine's Day) my mother called me at work, and told me when she was sitting in the kitchen having her morning coffee, the room got very bright and she could feel the presence of her father (my grandfather).   Although she couldn't see him, she knew who it was.   No sooner than she hung up from me my Aunt called my mother and told her that "daddy" had visited her and asked my mother if he had been to see her also.  

 I myself have had the feeling of someone watching me, shadows around corners, and dreams of loved ones that have passed, but have never seen anything. 

 I have been interested in the paranormal for many years and enjoy reading different experiences from other people, and hope that someday I can be one of those people sharing my encounter.
