I have been interested in all aspects of the paranormal for as long as I can remember. At the age of 7, I lost my father and from then on I always wondered about

life  after death. It’s a complicated question for a young child, and it has led to a lifelong curiosity. As a teenager, I experienced what I would describe as

unsettling feelings at certain  locations, such as stores or homes. Many of the homes were perfectly lovely. Even a parking lot, department store,

or restroom sometimes causes me to feel as though I need to leave immediately. I occasionally  come across a person who, for all outward appearances

looks very vital, but causes me to feel that he or she may  not be physically well. This happens very rarely.

I have read countless accounts of all types of paranormal occurrences and have experienced several myself. I wouldn’t say that I was a firm believer in ghosts until 1992, in a suburb of Paris, when I shared an apartment with the spirit of a 18th century French farmer who enjoyed tossing my Corning Ware, slamming my front door, and flushing my toilet. He told the man who had the apartment after me that he wanted to be noticed, which brings me to why I find myself so interested in the paranormal.

I need to know why people do the things that they do and why they feel the way they feel.  I want to understand how birth, childhood, marriage, divorce, grief, and aging, affects the human mind. I want to know how death affects the human mind. Why do these people remain? How do they remain? Can they be helped emotionally? What do they consist of physically, and can their energy force be measured scientifically? All of these questions drive me in my effort to understand life after death.
